Introduction

We are very pleased about your interest in the work of the "Akademie für Wirkraft" (Effectiveness Academy). We have taken appropriate measures to ensure that your data is safe with us and that data protection and security are guaranteed.

Visiting our homepage is possible without providing any data, but statistical user data can be collected by analytic tools. However, we do not evaluate this data as long as there is no need for it.

However, if you contact us and support us, it may be necessary to process personal data. Please refer to the following sections for the legal basis and handling.

As the data controller, we have implemented the best possible technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data processed via this website is protected as completely as possible, as far as this is feasible for us. Nevertheless, Internet-based data transmissions can generally have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every person concerned is free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, for example by post.

In the following we inform you in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 DSGVO about the collection and processing of your data.

Legal basis of data collection, data categories and purpose

Data is collected when visiting our homepage as well as when contacting and working with us.

In the following we inform you in accordance with Art. 13 (1) c and d DSGVO about the purposes for which personal data is processed, the legal basis and explain the legitimate interest.

Purposes for which data are processed and legal basis:

In most cases we collect and process your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f "legitimate interest".

The collection of your contact data, such as e-mail address, first name, surname, telephone number, and/or place is necessary in order to contact you, but also for our protection. In order to avoid abuse, it is important for us to know who is contacting us. Therefore we need traceable data and also reserve the right to verify you via public sources in case of doubt.

We need your data in order to respond to your requests, to cooperate with you, to communicate with each other and to act within the framework of the "EFFECTIVE" initiative. If you support us in our work or make donations to us, it may be necessary to collect further data, e.g. when contacting the print shop when publishing texts or for booking money on the donation account and declaration to the tax office. In these cases, the legal bases Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO (fulfilment of contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. c DSGVO fulfilment of a legal obligation also come into consideration.

In principle, we always ensure that the principles of data minimisation in accordance with Art. 5 (1) lit. c and of purpose limitation in accordance with Art. 5 (1) lit. b DSGVO are observed.

Processing of data of special categories ("sensitive data") Art. 9 DSGVO

Should it become necessary for our work to collect and process health data, we will observe the provisions required in Art. 9 DSGVO and, if necessary, obtain a declaration of consent beforehand. You will then receive a separate data protection declaration for the respective project.

Information on data collection and logging

(concerning data collected during visits to the homepage)

When visiting our homepage, usage data and meta/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses) are processed. We also refer to the information in the appendix on the topics of analytical tools and third-party tools. This information is largely based on the standard data protection declaration of hostsharing.net.

We expressly point out that there are numerous possibilities for data collection and tracking while surfing the Internet using suitable browser settings and/or additional tools. Please refer to the help function of your browser for more information.

Cookies

The internet pages of "WIRKRAFT" use cookies. Cookies are text files which are filed and stored on a computer system via an internet browser. Numerous internet pages and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identification of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters that can be used to assign Internet pages and servers to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the Internet pages and servers visited to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific Internet browser can be recognised and identified by means of the unique cookie ID. By using cookies, we can provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the setting of cookies. By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimised for the user. As already mentioned, cookies enable us to recognise the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website.

As already mentioned above, the person concerned can prevent cookies from being set by our website at any time by means of an appropriate setting in the Internet browser used, thereby permanently opposing the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the person concerned deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, it is possible that not all functions of our website can be used to their full extent.

Server log files

The "Wirkraft" website collects a number of general data and information each time a data subject or automated system accesses the website. These general data and information are stored in the server's log files. The following can be recorded: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of an access to the internet page, (6) an internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information which serve to prevent danger in case of attacks on our information technology systems. When using these general data and information, we do not draw any conclusions about the person concerned. Rather, this information is required in order to (1) deliver the contents of our website correctly, (2) optimise the contents of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the permanent functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a person concerned.

4.1 Transfer of data when clicking on links to other sites

We provide links to other sites for further information and for networking with other initiatives. When you click on these links, you leave our site and thus the scope of this privacy policy. From this moment on, the data protection declaration of the page to which the link leads applies.

In these cases, it may also happen that your data goes to third countries with a lower level of data protection. Please therefore pay close attention to which links you click.

Data collection and transfer of data via "Contact"

The main aim of our initiative is to exchange and pool information, organise events and actions and
to cooperate with other initiatives and people. For this we need an e-mail address from you. Please note that an open e-mail distribution list may be necessary for cooperation. We expressly point out that your e-mail address may therefore be passed on and therefore recommend that you create your own e-mail address for cooperation with us.

As it is possible that we also operate internationally, it may happen that your e-mail address is also distributed to a third country (Switzerland) in the course of the exchange. Otherwise there will be no transmission to third countries within the scope of our work (but when visiting our homepage, see appendix).

Furthermore, it may happen that your name is published on our homepage if you register as a supporter, if you organise an event or otherwise need to be named as a contact person for a project. In these cases the publication is clear for you or we will arrange the publication with you beforehand.

5.1 Notice for events and photo shootings

We also organise events. At these events it may happen that the press publishes photos and text. As we generally do not know you personally well enough and cannot know if there are any interests

worthy of protection against this, we ask you to inform us before events.
We also ask you not to take and publish photographs of other participants without being asked.

Subscription to a newsletter

At the moment we have not integrated a newsletter service.

Storage period

We store your data as long as they are needed for our work or for legal and statutory reasons (e.g. for commercial and tax law). It is possible that the data may be stored for possible follow-up activities or, if you defame, attack or otherwise damage us, for a longer period of time; in this case there is a need for a longer storage period.

However, we would like to point out that your data may be passed on to other addresses through networking and that we cannot then limit the storage period for these addresses, but that the person who receives your data is then responsible for the storage period and timely deletion.

Profiling

Neither from the data collected when you visit our pages nor from other data we receive from you do we make automated decisions and do not profile you, unless there are extraordinary reasons (e.g. attacks on the homepage). If analytical tools are used, we do not evaluate any data.

Information regarding the provision of personal data

You are obliged to provide the data necessary for the cooperation with us. This also means that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or may also result from contractual regulations (e.g. details of the contractual partner). If you do not provide us with the necessary personal data, it may be that your request cannot be processed or a contract cannot be concluded.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO as well as a right to correction in accordance with Art. 16, a right to block or delete this data in accordance with 17 DSGVO, a right to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO and a right to object to processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that the conditions specified in the respective legal bases are fulfilled and there are no legal or contractual reasons against this and provided that it is feasible for us. We only provide information to persons whose identity is unambiguous for us. However, as we are all volunteers, we would ask you not to exercise this right.

Right of appeal

Under Art. 77 DSGVO, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.

We make every effort to comply with all provisions. Therefore, for the sake of fairness, we ask you to contact us first in the event of complaints.
